oh, I thought RPM was a magazine, or a news outlet..

Well gave no context, just a bunch of adjectives.. nice..

So Andretti will probably join by 2025, and they are trying to get Colton Herta.. who don't have a Superlicense yet, maybe if Alonso is available he can go there.. :)

WTF is this "Audi pulling out" nonsense???

"...the project is being reviewed and would be put to a vote by the board, with a decision on whether to continue with its F1 plans to be made at the conclusion of the 2023 season."

that would be a kick in the nuts on the young drivers.. Red Bull invests a lot of money there to be considering a 42 y/o driver

I know every rumor has a % of truth in it, but I feel that % is pretty tiny

But since we are talking about the green car, Lawrence Stroll seems to be designing a quick exit plan in case his son decides to leave F1 at the end of the year

Must be nice to have that kind of money.

"Let's invest in a Le Mans team led by my son Lance. There are less wheel to wheel situations in Le Mans so that he appears to be doing well.

I used to think that Aston Martin would rise in the ranking. Can't go forward when you can't compete, let alone stay in the race. Of all the teams, Aston Martin is the biggest disappointment this season.

A rumor that started in the Spanish press and has been mentioned as a fake rumor by the general press and more experienced Spanish commentators.

Alonso would not move to a team that orbits around a driver, and that driver not being him as he learned that in McLaren.

Great end of the Brazilian GP, all the way up to the flag Alonso fighting with Perez for 3rd..

A big Question mark for the Mercedes team , they had a decent first stint then their pace went to the bin..
Ferrari, the best car was 50 seconds off pace, and Charles car couldn't do the recon lap.
Astons!.. wow 3rd and 5th.. well done, they found the gas pedal!

I mean even as a Ham fan since 2007 and Ocon fan since 2016 I'm def. sure , it was his 3. WDC in this season.

We have enough hate in this world already, so don't need to add extra hate.

As a driver he will never be my fav. one , but as a human he is "big" in my eyes.

My team sort of fixed itself a little after the summer break. Big time Mclaren fan, always have been. But the change from the start to end of the season was insane, Lando was even pressuring max for a little in Brazil but we were so bad at the begining. Great season for all round, other than max winning basically every race and no real WDC or WCC fight for #1

This is to all that complain of No fight for #1..
Formula 1 has always been a One team wins all sport. McLaren dominance until Williams dominance until Benetton/McLaren interim then Full Ferrari then another interim (Renault) RedBull Mercedes RBR.. Always we had one car dominating, With Most teams want to have CLEAR 1-2 roles.. Exceptions were HAM-ROS and PRO-SEN in the past

Probably only 2 times in the las 15 years that the championship had some type of uncertainty (maybe 2012 and 2021) Even 2016 I can say it was not a real fight, it was nasty toxic like 2021, where drivers rather kill each other instead of real racing

2010 was the best. Four drivers heading into final race hoping to champion, and Button was only out of contention one race before that. What a season :o

But more often than not there's at least some good uncertainty in the first half, or at least early on. This year the biggest question was whether Checo would challenge Max enough to cause a big blow-up that would probably result in him losing his seat. Answer: Of course not, why would he.

But I agree it was a surprisingly fun season with the battle between other top teams to close the gap on Red Bull, and unusual tyre warm up and ride height differences shaking things up each race (with even RB not being immune to disasters). Even the sprint races had a fair amount of action.

In the last 15 years we had 2008, 2010, 2012, first half of 2013, 2018, 2021 with some kind of uncertainty, as you put it. And we could throw in a couple more depending on how much uncertainty you want to admit. I would argue the first half of 2022 was very uncertain too, just one team refused to win.

While this season was somewhat more interesting than say 2015 or 2019, it's impossible to ignore the fact that Red Bull won all but one race, Verstappen finished on the podium every time except one and established a dominance one can only hope will never be seen again. Dismissing this as "normal" is not only disingenuous, it's also unfair to Red Bull and Verstappen.

Unfortunately, with the best designer, best driver and already four months of development on next year's car, I don't see anything changing in 2024. I do enjoy seeing excellence get rewarded, but one year's enough, as it was with Hamilton and Mercedes and Schumacher and Ferrari before that.

Well, most of the ones wanting to swap Checo for a Challenger forgot HAM-ROS dynamics..

Well, yeah, in very rare occasions we witness a team dominate like this, but also we can't ignore the fact that a driver was almost flawless all season long. It's only good for the sport to have more drivers with this level of efficacy. I welcome the idea of having more drivers on this level

Oh please, All teams start working on the new cars as soon as they have a chance, they are most surely using next year budget to understand the mistakes done on current year too..

Great season, if we remove Red Bull it was a close fight till the last race. Mercedes & Ferrari fighting or P2 in Constructer Championship where as Norris, Checo, Leclerc, Alonso for fighting for P4 in Drivers Championship. We can say that this season was the closest season (excluding Red Bull). Anyways looking forward for the next year, I hope Mercedes bring a nice car and we start dominating again!

I hope not...
Didn't you say just yourself that it was great close fight... Why you now want one team to be dominant?
I would prefer close fight for first place all through season.
