Today pele died at 82 so i created this topic to pay respects to pele

Brazilian livery for tomorrow for me, It would be nice if it was also available for the non supporters..

Oh how many times did I pretend to be him when we played as kids. I grew up with his picture on my wall and I always wore #10 when I played.
It's hard to say who's the "Best" footballer of all time,
but none are better than Pelé.
He was a crap flag waver tho....

Could have been 4 but was drawn into what was arguably the hardest ever group with Portugal and Hungary in 1966....

Some athletes are greater than their sport, they transcend the level of other champions.
Edson Arantes do Nascimento is the most beautiful thing football has ever produced. We speak with respect about Puskás, Maradona, Cruijff, Messi, Di Stefano, Eusebio, Platini, Beckenbauer, Christiano Ronaldo, Zidane, Romario, and all those others who have been able to enchant us with their football skills.
But Pelé was even more than that, unlike anything we've ever seen before or since. When we talk about Pelé it is of pure adoration, we are talking about art......
Pelé was like an Angel who temporarily descended to show us his wonders, and has now gone back to his own realm.
