Like I said on Discord, this was the best final in my lifetime (started with 1998). Great performance from both teams, but in the end, Argentina deserved the win.
Now there's only one more thing Messi has to do to be the undisputed GOAT, prove he can do it on cold, rainy night in Stoke. 😀

I would have been happy if france won but I am happy too for Messi and Argentina.

The title of "Greatest Of All Times" will always remain subjective is my humble opinion.
It will always depend on who you ask it, and how young/old that person is. Someone who is only 25 years young did never see play stars like Pele, Eusebio, Beckenbauer, Platini, Cruijff, Maradona, Puskás, Van Basten, Jairzinho, Romario and all those others that I do forget to mention. So for younger people it is impossible to make any comparison with those players, or it must be that they did watch back a lot of the old games.
When it comes to the amount of titles won, you will always find a player that won one more cup or championship. I can give you a few players that won the UEFA Champions League more often than Messi, and when it comes to winning the World Cup Messi wil have to win it twice more to equalize the amount of times that Pele won it, for example.
In fifty years from now most people will never have seen Messi playing, (Only the youngest around us.), so it is only logic that they will name other players when it comes to being "the GOAT".
For me personally Messi is in the top five of best all time players, but he's not my nr.1.
