Maybe you could take a look at your starting fuel? maybe a little more than what you refilled to in the 1st pit stop?

mikko, you can belittle ppl all you like but i'm an adult and i don't expect others to be like that, especially when they are adults too.

not everybody spends their life on games, yes i have 200 odd races but you have over 1100 and your attitude and reply to my posts is shocking.

One might also consider you a veteran, after all 200+ races is more than 12 seasons

My question was sincere, how can you not know by now that everyone runs full race distance ?

I didn't think it belittling

also sincerely: wouldn't an adult have the patience to wait a few minutes for the analysis before making 9 posts claiming that everything is just random :)

sorry if that offends you

nope, 2 boost laps in stint 1
1 boost laps in stint 2

This is only possible in your case if you boosted laps 20-22. Laps 20-21 would be in Stint 1 and lap 22 would be in stint 2. Are you sure this is how your boosts were set?

Although the temperature rose, and stayed high in the second half of the race, something else declined and stayed low.

Dan, If second boost was on 21, you spent more fuel on laps 22-23 (second stint). That's why you ran out of fuel.

If the second boost was until lap 20, then something strange happened.

Another possibility is that you did not understand that the boost is valid for 3 laps, and used it on 20-21 and 30 for example.
So you actually spent more fuel on 20-21 of the first stint. And on 22-23, 30-31-32 of the second stint.

Utterly disgusted. 3 stints of 25 laps Brands H S83 R7, same fuel each stint,1l extra fuel to be safe, except second stint only managed 24 laps, with 3% fuel still in tank. Went from 2nd to 18th due to extra fuel stop for 1 lap. What a joke

I calculated with boost laps but I needed 2 stop anyway. A friend of mine was unlucky and stopped in the last lap for fuel.

Sounds like someone in Fuel management has to re-calibrate these fuel calculations ;)

Car levels/wear the same? Driver the same? Different statistics will change fuel consumption for sure
