Woo - here we go AND open for such a long time! For this list, I am really only considering movies that are based around "organized racing" or some variant of it, not street racing (sorry F&F Fans) or solely based on cars, but not racing (Sorry Gone in 60 seconds/Bullitt/Cars Fans)

I've seen almost all these movies and Senna is pretty hard to top - but all of them are good! I really do love Rush and Ford v. Ferrari though as well!

Original Grand Prix is incredible...narrowly edges it for me, for the onboard camera shots. Senna and Rush also epic though :)

Herbie Goes to Monte Carlo

My parents bought it on VHS for me when I was young, I had seen it at least a dozen times as a kid. :-)

Senna would've been better if it wasn't made like a hit piece on Prost. Though the extended version with all the Prost interviews is pretty cool!

Le Mans is a pure racing film. Others are romance.

I voted "Rush" , I admit I have not seen Grand Prix or Le Mans. The movie was nice, the casting was spot on with both Daniel Bruehl as Lauda and Chris Hemsworth as Hunt, it's directed by Ron Howard and has Hans Zimmer music. What else is there to say?

I liked "Senna" too, but I agree with Rafal, they're focusing a bit too much on Prost as the villain.

I dont vote for the Senna because its a documentary, not a movie. Talladega, Days of Thunder and the Sly one are just popcorn movies for the commoners. LeMans and Grand Prix are great, but out of my time. That leaves me with 2 options: Rush and Ford vs. Ferrari. Both pretty accurate, with good budget and good actors.
I vote for Ford vs. Ferrari only because of the scene where Shelby takes Mr. Ford for a ride in the GT40. Gives me the goosebumps everytime I see it. Anyone who has had the ass on a race car seat knows.

For the Senna fans: Netflix was filming in Argentina for some months.
You can see a filtered scene here:

and an article with a nice pic of one of the replicas in Buenos Aires racetrack:
